Community guidelines

TrncDate is for meeting people, making friends and finding a home in North Cyprus. These guidelines keep it safe, kind and real for everyone. They apply to profiles, messages, reels, stories, comments, groups, roommate posts, listings and events.

1. Be real

• Use your own name, age and recent photos
• Only post photos and videos of yourself, or ones you have permission to share
• One account per person — no fake or duplicate profiles

2. Be respectful

• No harassment, threats, bullying, hate or discrimination of any kind
• Take "no" for an answer — if someone doesn't reply or asks you to stop, move on
• Keep comments and group chats friendly and on topic

3. Keep it safe and legal

• Never ask for or send money, gift cards, crypto or bank details
• No offering, asking for or arranging paid sex or "escort" services — this is a serious crime and we report it to the police
• Nothing involving anyone under 18, ever
• No nudity, sexual content, violence, weapons or drugs in photos, reels or stories

4. Rooms, homes and events

• Only post rooms and homes that are really available and that you have the right to rent
• Never ask for a deposit before a viewing
• Events must be real, legal and safe, with honest details

5. No spam or selling

• No advertising, promotions, links to other sites or business schemes
• No repeated or copy-paste messages

6. What happens if rules are broken

Our team and moderators review reports and new content. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts — with or without warning — and we pass serious cases to the police.

7. Help us keep TrncDate safe

If something doesn't feel right, tap Report. Every report is read by our team, and the person you report is not told who reported them. In an emergency in North Cyprus, call the police on 155 or an ambulance on 112.
