Child safety standards

Last updated: October 2026

North Cyprus Trnc Dating, Real-estate & Roommate finder is a dating and community service for adults aged 18 and over in Northern Cyprus. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking or any sexualisation of minors. This page explains our standards and how to report a concern.

1. Adults only

Everyone must be at least 18 to create an account. We check the date of birth at sign-up, do not allow users who say they are under 18, and remove any account we find belongs to a minor. Our app is rated for adults and blocks users Google identifies as minors from downloading it.

2. What is prohibited

Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden, including: sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material; grooming or trying to contact minors; sexual or romantic conversations with anyone under 18; sextortion; trafficking; and profiles, photos or messages that suggest a person is under 18.

3. How we prevent it

  • Age requirement at sign-up and removal of underage accounts.
  • New profiles and posts can be reviewed by our moderators before they are shown.
  • Optional ID verification for a verified badge.
  • Automatic warnings and checks on risky messages, and limits on who can contact a member.
  • Block and report on every profile and in every chat.

4. How to report a concern

  • In the app or on the website: open the profile or chat → Report → choose “Child safety concern”. The profile is hidden immediately while our team reviews it.
  • By email: info@trncdate.com (subject: “Child safety”).
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police straight away (Northern Cyprus: 155) or your local emergency number.

5. What we do when we receive a report

Child-safety reports are treated as urgent. We hide the reported account at once, review it, remove content and permanently ban accounts that break these standards, keep the evidence needed by law enforcement, and report confirmed child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities — including the police in Northern Cyprus and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline — as required by applicable law.

6. Contact for child safety

Our designated child-safety contact can be reached at info@trncdate.com.
